Stampin'Up! Painted Harvest

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone

Today I have made a video tutorial showing the various different cards you can make using the Painted Harvest stamp set. This is a photopolymer set so it's very easy to line up for the various stages of stamping. The great news is that it will be carrying over to the next occasions catalogue.

There are so many different colour combinations and I have chosen to show you my favourites. I have also kept it simple for those of you that are new to stamping and in particular 3 step stamping. As I said in my video you don't need to be 100% perfect when lining up your stamps as it is a watercolour effect stamp set so again perfect for beginners.

Here are my sample cards.

For this card I used Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach and Soft Suede, The Designer Series Paper is  Painted Autumn.

My little hedgehog is stamped in Soft Suede and Crumb Cake, To stamp his face I used the teddybear face from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set. Again the designer Series Paper is Painted Autumn.

For the wreath card I stamped in Old Olive and used Real Red for the holy berries and the sentiment which is from the Oh What Fun stamp set.

Here is the video where I demonstrate the set to you and also make the wreath card.

I was lucky to get on the first reservation list for the Stamparatus, this clever stamp positioning tool will be perfect for this stamp set and as soon as mine arrives in February I will have lots of tutorials for you.

Here is the stamp set and below is the link direct to my shop.

Until next time, Happy crafting!

 Stampin'Up! Just Add Text

For my card I made a base with Crumb Cake cardstock then chose to use Powder Pink for the front panel. On the Powder Pink I stamped a small flower in Powder Pink ink from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set all over. I used some Whisper White card to stamp the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink along with the flowers, I then used my trusty Stitched Shapes Framlit dies to cut the circle. I then layered it onto a gold Foil Doily. I put some Whisper White Bakers Twine around the Powder Pink layer then finished the card with some coordinating ribbon a gold faceted gem.

StampinUp! Global Design Project #113

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone, Thank you for joining me again today. Today I am sharing the card with you that I have made for the Global Design Project #113 which is a colour challenge.

I think sometimes when you see a colour challenge it is very easy to let the colours take over the card so with this in mind I have decided to keep my card very simple by using hints of the colours on a Whisper White card base.

StampinUp! GDP #113 made by gemma crafts

I used the Painted Harvest stamp set to make the wreath stamped in Pear Pizzazz on Whisper White card. I then layered this onto a piece of Pool Party card to help it stand off the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment which is from Merry Mistletoe stamp set in Cherry Cobbler. The twine on my card is a new product from the upcoming Spring Summer 2018 Catalogue. I was lucky enough to get some from the craft totes at OnStage, I just love the subtle shimmer of the silver running through it.

Here are the products that I used,

Thank you once again for stopping by today, If you would like to see what the GDP is all about including what others have made for this challenge, click here to check them out.

Stampin'Up! OnStage Solihull 2017

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone

As you may have noticed I have been rather quiet on my blog and other social media recently, this is because I have been super busy preparing for OnStage. OnStage is an event for Stampin'Up! demonstrators to join together and not only celebrate everyone's achievements but also to see exciting new products in upcoming catalogues. For me the best part of OnStage is seeing the rest of my team mates the Crafty Cupcakes! We had a blast this weekend not only attending OnStage together but also having a crafty day together on Sunday!

Here is a picture of the team members at OnStage.

As always we were given previews of new products that will be released in the next occasions catalogue and Stampin'Up! have outdone themselves again with some fabulous new suites. I am looking forward to sharing them with you all soon.

Another exciting announcement was that Stampin'Up! are releasing a stamp positioning tool called the Stamparatus. I am so excited for this product as it will change the way you stamp and is very different to others available. To see what the Stamparatus is all about Stampin'Up! have made us a video with all information to show you how it works.

I have put together a handy guide here on how to reserve your Stamparatus.

Another part of OnStage are the swaps! I will be sharing pictures of all the swaps I received in the coming days and also my project with you.

Until then,

 Happy crafting!

Stampin' Up! Inspired By Nature Crafty Cupcakes Team Blog Hop

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone

Welcome to the Crafty Cupcakes Team Stampin' Up! Blog Hop for October 2017. Each month members of the Team take part in our Team Blog Hop to share with you our cards and projects made using the fabulous Stampin' Up! products. You are currently visiting (enter name and country) and below you will see the full list of everyone taking part. To move to the next blog just click the name after mine in the list. This month our theme is Inspired By Nature. Thank you for visiting my blog today.

For this months theme being inspired by nature I have been inspired on my daily school run with my two boys and how much fun they have kicking up the fallen leaves. So I decided to use a leaf that we collected to stamp with and here is my card.

To stamp with the leaf firstly I made sure it was clean and dry, Then to ink the leaf I laid it over my open ink pad and used a sponge brayer to gently roll over the leaf and ink it up. When I put the leaf onto my cardstock I used a piece of scrap paper on top so I could use the roller to pres it down. I chose to use Daffodil delight and Tangerine Tango for my leaves then added a strip of DSP from the Painted Autumn stack and punched out some labels with the Pretty Label punch in Early Espreso to match my card base and whisper white. On the whisper white label I stamped a sentiment from the Painted Harvest stamp set again in Early Espresso ink.
I just love the pattern from the stamped leaves with the veins, they are truly unique and nature at it most beautiful

Stampin'Up! You're Priceless Global Design Project #GDP108

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone

Today's card is one that I have made for the Global Design Project GDP#108. It has been a while since I have entered anything so I thought i would give it a go this week.

For this weeks challenge it is to CASE the designer who is the very talented Brian King. Within the GDP when the challenge is to CASE a card they mean to Copy And Selectively Edit, So that means that we are free to change the colour, stamp set etc...

Here is the card we are to CASE

And here is my card.

I chose to use the You're Priceless stamp set which is in the Annual Catalogue along with some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer card and Silver heat embossing. My card base is made from Smoky Slate which is my favourite neutral colour and I used whisper White to stamp on with versamark ink then sprinkled with silver embossing powder and heat set. The diamond die cut is from the Eclectic Layers thinlits dies and again I cut that with some Smoky Slate and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper. For the inside of my card I used the wording You're Brilliant and I then used the diamond stamp behind the words but stamped off twice in smoky slate ink.

Here is a list of what I used for my card,

Thank you for stopping by today, if you would like to see what others have created in this weeks GDP challenge then click the link here to see them and maybe even have a go yourself!
