Stampin'Up! Poppin Box Card Wrap

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

Today I m revisiting a previous tutorial, My poppin' box cube card. I was thinking about this and the original outer box isn't very mail friendly due to its size. So I have come up with an alternative. As you can see I have used my current favourite, the Cool Treats Suite from the S/S Catalogue.

They are still 6 1/4" tall but only 1/4" wide. This way of packaging the cube makes it much easier to mail.
To make this you will need
1 piece of card measuring 6 1/4" by 9 7/8" Scored on the long side at 3 1/8", 3 3/8", 6 1/2", 6 3/4"
1 piece of card measuring 1 1/2" by 8 1/4" Scored on the long side at 2 1/4", 2 1/2" 5 3/4", 6"

The piece of dsp on the front is 6" by 2 7/8"
For the rosette I have used a strip of dsp that is 12" by 1 1/2" and scored it every 1/4" on the 12" side.
I have stamped the sentiment on some Whisper White card and cut it out using one of the circles in the Stitched Framelits set.

Stampin'Up! Joseph's Coat Technique Thank You Card

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone,

For today's card and video I have made a card using the joseph's coat technique. I have seen quite a few cards made with this technique and watched a YouTube video by Dawn Griffiths a SU Demo from America where she showed how to do it, So thank you Dawn for the inspiration!

Stampin'Up! Thank you card

The team that I belong to the Crafty Cupcakes has a team challenge every month with a different theme and this month it is a tic tac toe board. So we have a choice of 9 colours and can chose a line going straight, down etc. I decided to go with Emerald Envy, Melon Mambo and Chocolate Chip and couldn't think of a better way to use these colours together.
In my video I decided to use Early Espresso as my dark colour as the Chocolate chip still showed some of the brighter colours underneath.
I have used the So Very Much stamp set which is available in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue and I love
the script style of the font. Its a great Stamp for making really simple yet stunning thank you cards.

For the card you will need
A card blank, Mine measures 5 3/4" by 8 1/4" scored on the long side in the centre at 4 1/8"

A piece of Emerald Envy card that measures 4" by 5 5/8"

A piece of Whisper White card that measures 3 7/8" by 5 1/2"

2 different coloured inks, again I have used Emerald Envy and Melon Mambo.
Versa Mark and clear embossing powder.
A dark ink, I have used Early Espresso

Here is how it all comes together in the video below

There is still time to join in with the Sale-A-Bration! All you need to do is shop with me and spend £45 or more to qualify for FREE product, it really couldn't be easier!

Stampin'Up! Gift Certificate Box

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone

Today's project is this Gift Certificate Box. The idea for this came from me buying my Mum an afternoon tea where I had to print out the information for her. I really didn't want to hand over a piece of paper so I designed this box to put it in.

For her card that I CASEd from Cathy at Craft with Cathy, I used the Beautiful You stamp set with the Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper. For the box base I used Island Indigo cardstock.

For the boxes below I changed it slightly by adding magnets for the closure.
For the first box I have used the Cool Treats suite again, I'm totally loving this suite at the moment as you can probably tell! for the one below I decided to stamp some of my own DSP with the petite petals stamp set and Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.

To make this box you will need

A piece of cardstock that measures 11 1/2" by 7 1/2"
This needs to be scored at,
On the 11 1/2" side at
1 1/2"
10"

On the 7 1/2" side at
1 1/2"
3"
4 1/2"
6"

You then need to fold and burnish all your score lines then do some cutting to form the side of your box, below is a cutting template for you to follow. I will also put a copy of this into the templates section of my blog for fast reference here

Click the video below to see how I made it,
