Hello everyone

Today I have made a card to enter into the Colour INKspiration Challenge. I just love a colour challenge and this is a group on Facebook of demo's that hold regular challenges with different colour combinations. Anyone who loves Stampin'Up! is welcome to play along so give it a go!

The colours for this challenge are

And here is what I came up with

For my card I have used Night of Navy for the card base which is 5 3/4" by 8 1/4" scored down the centre, a layer of Calypso coral ( 5 1/5 by 3 7/8" ), a Layer of Very Vanilla ( 5 1/4" by 3 5/8" )
Inside is a piece of Very Vanilla 5 1/2" by 3 7/8" that has been stamped with the make a medallion stamp and the sentiment is from the So In Love stamp set.
For the circle on the front of my card I used the circle from the stitched framelits and then used 2 to make a frame with the gold card.

Best of luck to everyone who enters the challenge, I'm looking forward to seeing all the lovely cards!

Stampin'Up! Bubble Wrap Background card

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke

Hello everyone

Today I have been playing with my ink and some bubble wrap! Its amazing how many everyday items can be used in our cardmaking to add interest and texture. I love to experiment and this is what I came up with.

I have used Bermuda Bay and Mint Macaron for my card along with some of the glimmer paper in Bermuda Bay. To finish my card I used the clear wink of stella pen to go over the lettering. I think this finishes the card off and ties it all together. The stamp set I used is So Very Much which is in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. There are only a few days to go of Sale-A-Bration so make sure you don't miss out on getting your free products!

Here are some close up pictures of the background and also to show the wink of stella

To make your card you will need a piece of bubble wrap. some ink and sponge brayers to apply the ink to the bubble wrap.

The measurement's for the card are as follows, all in inches,

Thick Whisper white card, 4.25 by 11.5 scored at 5.75
Regular Whisper White card 3.75 by 5.25
Bermuda Bay Glimmer card 4 by 5.5

In the tutorial you will see me using Fast Fuse Adhesive. This is a great strong adhesive that I would highly recommend. I have done a tutorial on how to change the refill in the Fuse which I hope you will find helpful. To see that click here

Stampin'Up! Pretty Petal Hexagon Gift Box and Card

Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gemma Clarke -

Hello everyone,

Today's project is a gift box and card. As you may know by now I love making boxes! So here is another hexagonal box with a twist on the lid.

For my box and card I have used the Part Animal DSP with Watermelon Wonder and Emerald Envy. The Party Animal DSP is now included in the Sale-A-Bration so to get some for free all you need to do is spend £45 or more, It couldn't be easier!

To make the box you will need,

Card measuring 3" by 9 1/2"
Card measuring 5 1/4" by 9 1/4"

To Make the lid of your box you will also need something round to trace your scoring tool around. I used one of the circle dies from the stitched framelits set and it measured roughly 2 1/2" in diameter. If you don't have that exact die one the same size will be fine.

Scoring for the lid is as follows, all in inches,

Along the 9 1/2" side score at
1.5
3
4.5
6
7.5
9

Along the 3" side score at
0.5
1.5

To find the middle of each of your sections mark with a pencil at the following measurements
.75
2.25
3.75
5.25
6.75
8.25

Here is the video for the box

For the card I have used the same dsp and cardstock colours and I have used the Big Birthday stamp set.

For the card you will need
A card base
A piece of card that measures 3 7/8" by 5 1/2"
A piece of dsp that measures 3 7/8" by 5 1/2"

whisper white card measuring 3 1/4" by 2 3/4"
another piece of dsp ( I used the other side to the birthday candles) that is 3 1/2" by 3"

Another piece of whisper white to stamp on.

Here is the tutorial for the card

A scrap of white to die cut a circle from.
A thin piece of card 1" by 3 7/8" for the front,
A scrap of card for stamping on.
